NdFeB Permanent Magnet production process:

Neodymium magnets are actually composed of neodymium, iron and boron (they are also referred to as NIB or NdFeB magnets). The powdered mixture is pressed under great pressure into molds. The material is then sintered (heated under a vacuum), cooled, and then ground or sliced into the desired shape. Coatings are then applied if required. Finally, the blank magnets are magnetized by exposing them to a very powerful magnetic field in excess of 30 KOe.

Key Advantages of Neodymium Magnet:

  • Neodymium Magnet are the most powerful commercially produced magnets.
  • Neodymium Magnet have a higher Maximum Energy Product, (BH).max, which can easily reach 30 MGOe and even goes up to 50 MGOe.
  • Neodymium Magnet can replace SmCo magnets in most cases, especially where operating temperature is less than 80 degrees Centigrade.
  • Neodymium Magnet has very high strength.
  • Relatively low cost.
  • Compared to Alnico and SmCo magnets, relatively easy to machine

[Access Information]
For magnets that have good magnetic properties and are relatively strong, hold the entire magnet with your left hand. Hold your right hand with your index finger and thumb. Move the magnet horizontally. Do not throw the removed magnet back into the magnet stack immediately after removal. Isolation of the magnet immediately. Gently, away from iron or magnetic objects (about 16 cm) or use a paper bag to take out the paper for safer. If you need to put the magnet back into the entire magnet, slowly return it to its original position and remove it from the near edge. The hand must hold the magnet until the magnet moves in.
